Who are you?

When you sleep 

When you dream

 

Who are you in your eternal being?

Who is it who sits between your eyes

Who is it who says “I”

Is it you who is wearing that disguise?

Who are you when you are truly alive?

 

Let go of your fear

Let go of your doubt

Let go of always knowing how

 

Who are you?

When you wake

When you dream

 

There is possibility in vulnerability 

Growth in being tender

Trust in your ability to surrender

There is power in authenticity

Beauty in honesty

Grace in making mistakes

And courage in being hopeful

 

Be patient

And 

Gentle 

There is magic in the subtle 

And

Truth in the struggle

 

And re-building to be done 

Out of that which has crumbled 

 

Who are you when you are safe?

Who are you when you are forgiven?

Who are you when you are understood?

Who are you when you are seen?

Who are you when you are free?
